Interesting development for draft prospect Dre Kirkpatrick

Recommended Posts

Watch Jenkins move ahead of him. I think a team like Dallas will jump all over him at 14--Cincinnati at 17 or even 21.

I still think that we could go OT, especially now.

Who else is there? Reach for Brockers or Still? Coples?

If an OT is available, we could trade down if we decide that Gross/Otah/Bell is what we need.

Trade down is the way to go. No one is clearly a franchise player at 8 or 9. We can get a starter/contributor later in rd 1, and add another 2nd or get a 3rd back to add depth. Of course, this is before the combine when everyone gets overhyped and will be All-Pro year one.

If there are no franchise players at 8 or 9, then why would anybody trade up?

Priorities aren't in order. Getting high > his career. Simple as that.

Let's just get this out there..

To all the jack-hats who say differently, it is a non addictive substance. I smoked for 3 years and stopped one day, cold turkey. Havent smoked in a year.

non addictive.

Addictive or non-addictive doesn't change the fact that Dre's a dumb-A.

no one has said otherwise.. that's what's hilarious about this thread... :jc:

raising awareness is a very winnable battle, one that shouldn't be ignored despite people's reluctance for change..

I am the absolute last person on this board that has anything bad to say about pot... But, I dont want players on my football team to smoke because it is bad for the lungs, and I dont want our defense, especially CBs out there getting beat like a drum because they cant breathe as well as other top-shape athletes.

Out of breath? This is not tobacco that we're talking about here. Look up Micheal Phelps and see how out of breath he was in China during the Olympics.

One is legal the other isn't.

Marijuana was completely legal when alcohol was illegal. Why is marijuana illegal today you ask? Number one reason was because of how great hemp is as a manufacturing item.

If I had a interview for a job that is paying me money that will get me set for life, you actually think I would be worrying about smoking weed? He is showing poor judgement on his part and the fact that smoking weed is illegal in most states, and prohibited in the NFL is a concern.

This is the winner folks.
