News Flash: College students smoke pot and drink alcohol.

I know I do from time to time. Haven't smoked in about six months. I go to school for a reason and that's to get a degree.

raising awareness is a very winnable battle, one that shouldn't be ignored despite people's reluctance for change..

So Dre was just doing his part to raise awareness? LOL

He's the Rosa Parks of the legalize pot movement.

No, scratch that... Nate Newton is the Rosa Parks of the legalize pot movement.

The man got busted driving around with 300 pounds of weed... 300 pounds.

getting caught out in public with it is pretty stupid.. but the fact that it's illegal is due to a flaw in the minds of American's who hypocritically and ignorantly rise against it... If it were legal, this would be a non-issue.

agreed.. but this would be a non-issue if it were legalized, which is where I'm coming from.

and the term "drugs" in your post is a bit misleading, when people everyday drink a "drug" that is legal..

I view this as a bump in the road if he handles it right.Hell Cam had a charge of receiving stolen goods and we drafted him.Young people make mistakes but if the team sees it as a one time deal it should not hurt him too bad.

3 years before he was drafted...not 3 months.

well i agree its not going to help but to say we do not draft kids with these type of problems. When we drafted Hogan he had legal issues coupled with being hurt.He will have to answer for it but feel it is something he can overcome.

Hogan was low risk in the 4th round. If he messed up again you lost a 4th round pick not a first.
