I know they will keep Mcclain and Fua but if you had the choice what 5 DT would you keep on the roster now.

1.Edwards

2. Mcclain

3.Nebblet

4. Shirly

5. Kearse

Edwards isn't going anywhere either so you can take him off the list. If i were to keep one of the others it would be shirley simply because of his size and play at the end of the season leaving neblett and kearse fight it out in training camp

I'd really hope for some major upgrades at the position. None of them get me excited.

Edwards will start unless we get a couple big free agents or we draft a dt with our first pick along with a FA.

Fua will probably be on that list, kearse might be stored on the practice squad which sucks because he's a way better NT than fua, but they've invested a 3rd round pick in Fua

I was more talking about the Fua part who wouldn't be on my list.

Just some numbers:
When..

Neblett started: other team averaged 93 yds rushing/gm and 20 pts/gm. We were 3-1.

Neblett played: other team averaged 116 yds rushing/gm and 24 pts/gm. We were 6-6.

Neblett didn't play: other team averaged 175 yds rushing/gm and 35 pts/gm. We were 0-4.

I like what I saw from Shirley and kearse. I'd like to see the Panthers keep them. I hate to say it, but the best thing for this organization is to cut ties with Fua. admit that we made a mistake and move on.
