8-5-3 in the last 16 games. Only 8 points out of the 8 seed. Keep playing like this and the playoffs no longer are a pipe dream.

Unfortunately we have played the most games in the NHL, so we would need to win about 20 of our final 31 games to secure a playoff spot.

We need a couple teams in front of us to hit a bad streak while we stay hot for about 10 more games before we even dream of playoffs. As stated, we have played more games. We just hit that week long break, we're screwed.

Was reading or heard somewher that we have to go 20-7-4 over the second half just to have a 50 percent chance at an 8 seed. Not impossible, but improbable.
