can you elaborate on which part is wrong and why you think it's not real journalism?

Well she didn't do a very good job other than take a shot at FOX. And BTW thanks for the 50b of our own money, so the state can piss it away.

The great think about conservatives in groups is you can really see the strong Christian background of so many of their rank. I mean, they really are such a testement to Christ's love.

Well, I would think that her job is to report on the protest. Interview some folks without interjecting her own belief system...And evidently she is too retarded to understand that the money going back to that gentleman's state was indeed TAX money.

I love it, we're in the middle of a media ratings war that because of the stupidity of both sides of our political spectrum has spread into a political war.

lol.

I'm not really sure what kind of substance these protests have. I'm referring to the basic principal behind their organization which is "no new taxes". Although Obama's budget is still in House comittees being revised, I've read it and for 98% of us making below 150K and 90% of us making between 150-250K (I'm talking about joint returns here), we will not see any income tax increases. Plus the estate (death) tax exemption is to stay at 3.5 million (it was only 650K ten years ago). Plus the tax increases for the wealthy are only going up to the Bill Clinton rates which is only 3-5% higher than now. And none of this is supposed to start until 2011.

Granted, Congress can change this plan but the rumblings seem to be that they want to cut some his spending plans (like universal healthcare) and not increase taxes more.

I've got plenty of issues and concerns with our all Dem controlled gvt. on the federal and state level but people really need to educate themselves before protesting.

    • Of course, he's so massive he has his own gravitational pull.
    • You miss the point. Taylor was here before. We picked him because of what he could do for our wide receivers not because he had some great knowledge no other person had on the staff. Shula and Rivera and Gettleman studied multiple college systems for months before signing Taylor or drafting McCaffrey or Curtis and would have drafted the same whether Taylor was here or not. They liked the way Taylor developed McCaffrey which showed his talent but Stanford's offense wasn't Taylors idea or unique to him. Shula has a connection to Taylor as early as when Shula was at Alabama.  The debate was whether Taylor was chosen to replace Shula because Shula didn't know what to do to run a college offense and if he screwed up Taylor would replace him. And that Taylor was the reason and most influential in getting McCaffrey. I said it wasn't even close to the truth and this plan predated Taylor and was more thorough and we'll thought out. Everything since then just confirms I was right once again like usual.
