I don't know what that means so I'll just take it as an insult 33.gif

People have a right to protect themselves....if there were a ban on guns (aka gun control) then that would just make us (law abiding citizens) vulnurable.

I realize that there are families out there that have had innocent lives taken away from them by careless idiots, insane zealots, etc. and that is exactly why we need the Second Amendment.

u r wise. See Newt Gingrich's sweep for those who think otherwise. If the Dem party remade itself as pro-gun we'd pretty much turn into even more of a one-party country than we already are.

...and lets face it, if there are more guns then really...so what? poo happens people die. The population of the world is increasing so fast that resources just aren't going to be able to keep up. If guns increase deaths then by all means lets frown on it and stuff but as far as the greater good is concerned then the human condition will actually benefit.

All the chinese people with their silly ching ching chong stuff. i can't understand you go back to your country

i'm personally opposed to guns. they increase the danger to every household they are in. people with guns in their home are more likely to be killed by guns, and more likely to commit suicide.

I really dislike this statement. It's liberal B.S.

i think they should be treated much in the way that cars are. people should take tests on proper use and safety. they are at least as much of a responsibility as driving.

I really love this statement by rodeo. It's liberal brilliance. This is actually what the NRA promotes rodeo.

If the NRA really supports that, why are they against background checks at gun shows?

I agree with that. Sadly though, misuse of cars (a/k/a drunk or otherwise negligent driving) kills more people than people with legally obtained firearms do, but doesn't incur a quarter of the outcry.

We are gun owners who are safety conscious and the other gun owners I know personally are rabid about safety as well. Still, it is something that should be mandatory, the safety tests. Heck, don't lifeguards have to take tests on water safety before they are lifeguards?

$$$$$$$ I suppose.

I guess I should say, the NRA supports training and safe ownership in their Literature.

Ooooooo wow! You know they're serious when they have pamphlets in their office.

The problem is that due to well organized gun fanatics, it's near impossible to pass sensible gun laws.

Somehow allowing a person with a history of mental illness immediate access to semi automatic guns with enough ammo to invade Poland is the only way certain people feel we can defend our freedom.

Never discount the power of the pamphlet........

:confused5:

"semi-automatic" groups nearly all hunting weapons as well. An "automatic" shotgun, most hunting rifles, my little Nylon .22 squirrel gun.
