Taxation without representation!!!

Most of my clients know that they are paying the lowest rates probably ever in their lives right now and that will continue in 2009. Dosen't matter to them. This admin. has them upset and I can tell you that health care spending/reform was a big part of it rather than future tax increases.

What % of your clients would you say are republicans? You do live in a predominantly conservative area...just saying that they all might be outraged because its not their guy in the white house.

Which would explain their stance on health care

I have clients in every tax bracket including many in the 10% bracket. Most probably lean to the conservative side of the spectrum.

"Socialism" is the biggest issue around here. Many feel that the bank bailouts are part of it. Perhaps the start of it. Rick Wagoner's forced resignation might have ended with a proper result but just the fact that the white house was able to do that has a very scary precedent attached to it. Many wonder if this is just the start of a "nanny state" and with the total control the dems have right now, the worries are real.

Obama should have come to the center after being elected. He owed too many people on the left too many favors and he has created this mess himself. Those of you who voted for him will say "No, it's not HIS fault people don't accept the election results."

Well leadership is about bringing people together for a common cause. These rallies and the libs making fun of them sure don't seem to suggest this country is coming together.

Clinton struggled in a similar fashion his first two years. Then he realized he needed to come to the center and he worked with the Repubs and look what happened.

Well when it's obvious that the majority of the people (like yourself) are simply looking for excuses to get mad or dislike Obama. (OMG he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia!!!!11! WORST PRESIDENT EVAH!!1!! HE'S LETTING THE PIRATES WIN!!11!!)

I don't see what he could have done to placate you.

Sure he's made mistakes and he'll need to correct somethings, but worrying about those that are looking for any and all excuses to hate him would be counter productive.

I could care less about the bowing thing, the pirates thing, the Tony Brown gift fiasco, etc.

The things that bother me are deeper than that. Why go after Rush Limbaugh? Why appear on Jay Leno? You're a President now. Act like it. Whether you like the people who listen to Limbaugh or not, you are now their leader. When you write them off and just veer left, these rallies are what you get.

How did those of you on the left feel when Bush ignored the NAACP? When he didn't do everything he possibly could to help the people in New Orleans?

Obamas policies, while of course more "liberal" than his predecessor, are just left of center instead of right of center. You crybabies are somehow convinced that he is making abortion mandatory, taking all your guns, enforcing state run indoctrination programs, and providing free Cadillacs for crack addicts, because it makes you feel better for some reason. For crying out loud, grow up a little.
