People can choose to dislike a particular team or player for any number of reasons, including a heartbreaking loss to said team or player.
In some cases, the team or player themselves validates those feelings, sometimes not. Take a guy like Warrick Dunm. He did plenty of damage to us on two
rival teams, but he's such a good guy in real life I can't find it in my heart to dislike him.
Brady, on the other hand, I've always found to be kind of a prick. Thus, I have no problem seeing him lose. Ditto Bellichick. Couldn't stand Mike Vrabel when he was with them either. And then there's Rodney Harrison.
Guys like Kevin Faulk or Danny Woodhead though? Nothing in the world against them.
