Fortunately for us the panther was adopted by JR. Who took the jaguar? State of Florida?

Remember the game in 99 when Sieffert let the Jags score so we could get the ball back and go for a tie? Missed a conversion and lost, but that was pretty exciting.

I remember when they let an actual panther loose in Ericsson Stadium and filmed it running around and growling. Showed it on the big screen to pump the crowd up each home game.

I was there. Three friends and I got tickets and made the trip from West Virginia.

Took up a spot by the fence right in front of the end zone where Tyrone Poole returned his interception and where Steve Lofton saved the game knocking down a pass on the final play.

A great game, and to this day one of my best football memories.
