playing uncharted 2 right now... that game rocks socks.

Yea. Really fun series. Wish they were longer though, with more side missions or something.

Totally forgot The Saboteur.

Most probably won't like it, but for $10 I loved it. It's an open world third person, but set in Nazi occupied France.

The Saboteur is good fun. I'll also add that the ending of Red Dead Redemption is pretty much the first time I've been moved by a video game.

If we're doing it purely on Top Ten Games, and not condensing it to series, my list looks like this:

1) Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal
2) Baldur's Gate: Shadow of Amn
3) Mass Effect 2
4) Mass Effect 1
5) Knights of the Old Republic 1
6) Dragon Age: Origins
7) Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines
8) Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
9) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
10) Mass Effect 3 (even with THAT ending)

2. Total War, Med2, Empire, Napoleon

3. Call of Duty, 1-3 were awesome obv, 4 was THE BEST, WAW zombies was teh bomb, everything from there is just meh. BO2 looks decent though.

4. Warcraft 1, 2, 3

5. Starcraft 1, 2

6. Madden, IMO game gets better every year so

7. Max Payne 1, 2, havent played 3 yet.

8. Duke Nukem, OLD SCHOOL

9. Doom, Quake, Heretic, etc..original gore FPS's, set the stage.

10. C&C, best was RA2, everything before that was legit, everything after was sh$t

Honorable mention goes to Heroes of Might and Magic. I lost a few days of my life to III.

Also: Commander Keen, Need for Speed (any and all), Halo, Gears, Wolfenstein, Fight Night 2 and 3, World of Warcraft, a few star wars games (Jedi Knight), Dues Ex 1, Mafia 1 and 2, Unreal Tournament, on and on and on and on

I'm surprised more of you guys don't list Skyrim as one of the top games. That is probably one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

I will never buy another Bioware game again. It's a real shame since they developed some of my favorite games of all time.

You pick a bunch of sports games, a shitty shooter, name entire series instead of games and can't even properly name Goldeneye? Exquisite taste good sir.

Socom 1 was the poo when it 1st came out, a lot of people dont like 3PS, but that game was the best shooter I ever played. That game IMO was ahead of its time.

Excite Bike- man I just thinking about that games makes we want to play it right now.

Sports games- Come on man, Football, Boxing and Golf games are the poo. Maybe I shouldve listed Mike Tyson's Punch Out. LOL

Golden Eye- Yeah I goofed on that one, but 4 player mode with a bunch of buddies was the poo, I hated when my friends use to pick Oddjob, that little bastard was hard for me to kill at times...
