I tip 10 bucks about every 4th or 5th time I order pizza.

I never wait more than 30 minutes from the time I hit submit on the site and often I have it in 20-25 minutes. The delivery guys seem know my address and I always get great service.

Totally worth the extra cash from time to time.

you people that make frozen pizzas should just try making pizza from scratch... it's pretty freaking easy and soooo much better.

My stepbrother is a pizza boy. And no, most places do not give the drivers the delivery charge.

The drivers do get paid for mileage, just like all jobs are required to do for work related travel. The delivery charge is supposed to be for that, but the amount they get paid for mileage has not gone up.

It's just another way for the pizza place to make money unfortunately.

That sucks, I used to make minimum wage at Papa John's back in the day.

I drove for Papa John's in '97 or so, got 7.50 an hour, mileage and tips. It actually paid pretty well and I loved the job. I don't tip as much now with the delivery charge added on there.

Do that too, and it's cheaper. But if you can't make a good sauce the ingredients don't matter..
