Surveyors with NCGS have been working on this in conjunction with the SCGS and their GA counterparts for several years now...

The original boundaries were surveyed in the 1800s with very primitive equipment and often marked with things like trees and rocks. It's really not that big of an issue...

TN/GA has a much bigger border dispute going on...

Only in Fort Mill area. SC as a whole has a terrible educational system.

I would think the biggest impact would be on people who would now own property in both states. SC property taxes on half of your property, and NC property taxes on the other half.
