I have never been a fan of small dogs of any type.

That's because you hate competition. ;)

Pekingese.....hate to admit it but that dog represents one of the residents of my home...the other being a shih tzu...I know, but they were my wife's pick and I have grown to love both of them over the years. But I will tell you the Pekingese is extremely stubborn, and often I do find myself wanting to kick the h outta her

I used to own Pekengese and Chinese Chin. These dogs are ballers indeed. Super smart and very playful. Anyone who disagrees clearly has no clue. Anyone who ever own one would never ever saying anything bad about these species.

Think of a pug with more brain and longer hair.

Swag for defending pekes. I grew up with one (just lost her...17 years old) and they're great dogs. In general they're not yapping, annoying dogs. They're more laid back and playful when they're in a good mood. Yes, they can be stubborn but they're also very smart and they actually make you work a little for their affection.

I'm sorry, if it's under 40 or 50 pounds it isn't a dog. More like an accessory. And a rodent.

Yeah I forgot to mention they aren't barkers. Gizmo (my dog) didn't really bark for the first couple of months I had her. I was actually wondering if she could bark until the "poo zu" (Cooper) came along. Gizmo used to actually be able to travel with me on business trips cuz of the fact she was so quiet.....
