Brian Quick is freaking awesome. I'll admit it, the past few App State draft picks haven't been all that great (i.e. Armanti Edwards, Dexter Jackson, Corey Lynch) but i've watched this guy play for 4 years & he's the possession receiver we've been needing. Great hands, speed, body frame & work ethics. Nothing like retarded Dwayne Jarrett. I'd say draft him sometime in the 3rd-4th round if possible

I'd rather avoid drafting from low-tier conferences

Yeah places like Memphis never produce quality players.

Fans would never give Quick a chance.

A 4.6? Sounds like a LaFell retread. Give me a speedster.

I certainly wouldn't draft him in the third. Maybe take a chance in the sixth if he drops but there is no reason to believe he would be among our top three receivers next year so why spend even a mid round pick on somebody who doesn't project to ever get on the field.

I normally bash ASU players, but this guy is a sleeper. He's got the intangibles, size, route running, hands, speed.

If he drops to the 5th round, I want the guy, even the 4th to be honest. Nothing higher than that though. He's kinda raw but the skills are there.

The last thing we need around here is another player for App State homers to swoon over.

you can get Moss for quick's price. We don't need a possession receiver. We have three sure-handed TE's, two pass catching RB's, Steve Smith, and two tall receivers in Gettis and Lafell who we should have confidence in.

If they are going to go receiver with a mid round pick than it would be nice to get one with some return skills.

I guess that is what Pilares is supposed to be but he doesn't seem to play very quick to me.

Brian Quick is going to be a stud, I'd spend a 4th or later on him.

Yes, because no great players have ever came from the FCS division or lower
