Ok I see where youre coming from now. I agree with that statement 100%. I know people probably think im some sort of Paulbot or whatever...but i only lean towards him because he is by far the best option out of everyone involved in the race, and a step away from fascism for a change. My ideal candidate does not exist. Anyways, being that you then essentially view Paul as Authoritarian, you must think the others and everyone else in politics for that matter are as well, and to a much higher degree. Would you agree with that?

I don't differentiate between authoritarianism on a state and federal level, so Paul is just about on the same level as most of them to me. The obvious exceptions are people like Santorum who are on a completely different level.

I don't have an ideal candidate either and never will, but I lean more toward the type of liberals who are for regulating corporations to maximum benefit of society, while leaving individual sovereignty up to the individual person.

That type doesn't currently exist in the government, the batch we have now are beholden to corporations while either pay lip service or blatantly forgoing the whole 'individual' thing.

I just can't believe that our minds are so different from other animals on this planet that it was just because two organisms merged.

Our minds are completely different from our own species of 200,000 years ago. Life holds huge meaning to each individual and to the species as a collective, but I don't think it holds any inherent meaning on its own without us assigning meaning to it because of how it affects us.

Honestly i dont even view abortion as an issue. This is because i do not view life as being created with the birth of a human being. The human body is no more than a vehicle for consciousness, experiencing this paradigm of reality. It is not who you actually are. Who you actually are in your purest form will always exist in the void, and will experience an almost infinite number of realities and lifetimes. So if someone decides to abort your body while still in the womb, you can go off somewhere else and find another body to occupy that wont get aborted.

for all we know it was just another natural step in the process and there was nothing random about it

to absolutely and utterly eradicate all life on earth would take a true act of god, such as being hurtled into the sun.

anything that released a fragment into space could potentially contain an extremophile that could survive a billion years in the vacuum of space.

for all the fug we know there could be life on the motherfuging sun

just a tilt of the Earth will be enough

but I still think there is a reason for knowing why we are alive.

I have a question for evangelical Christians. If a woman gets an abortion, what do you care? In your world, she's going to hell and you're going to heaven. As long as you're going to heaven, why should you care?

But then again if that woman that got an abortion gives a ton of MONEY toward your church she's probably okay for heaven. Am I right Christians?

They care because they think that she has prevented/killed the baby so it doesn't get a chance to live and experience the joy of jesus or what not.

The joy of tithing 10% of their GROSS earnings to a multi-million dollar church that pays no taxes on their land.

Not every Christian has to tithe like that.
