Brockers is a 1st round prospect with infinite potential who has shown to be a dominant run stuffer (at the college level) with other aspects of his game as well (such as batting down passes, taking on multiple blockers to free up LBs and DEs to get pressure on the QB and *potential* to improve in pressuring the QB himself).

I am not talking about his potential, or draft statis. i'm just saying they are
both came or coming into the draft with a strong base but a weak upper body
strength that will not translate into being a dominate player their first year.
If i'm drafting a defensive tackle high in the first round I
won't one who can be a dominate force his first year.

Why do you say Brockers has weak upper body strength? He didn't lift at the combine, and from what I saw, along with the reports I've read, he wasn't pushed around at all at LSU. I'm not saying he doesn't have weak upper body strength, just that I've never seen an indication of it nor read anything about him having strength issues up top...at least other than when it was incorrectly reported he only lifted 19 times at the combine.

Too risky. let another team take him off the board. Personally, he shouldnt even be in the discussion with our first pick. Standing firm on selecting a cb 1st. address the dt in the second. if we can trade down i like that the best cause no 3rd
