hess turned down invite to ref in Atlanta
probably because the ACC tourney anywhere but Greensboro is a complete waste of time but possibly because he, being the dick that he is, wanted to pout about being reprimanded for the "call" he made at RBC.
I don't think it has anything to do with State, or ACC refs hating State, or ACC refs unite in solidarity against State.
IF and that is a big if, the "KH" was in support of KH, its about KH choosing to do another tournament because of something between Swofford and Hess. It has nothing to do with State or bias against State in any way.
My opinion of what is going on with Chase and on Pack Pride is as follows and I have posted it on another board verbatim:
Watching trains wreck is fun. If you ever watched one where a group of bystanders purposely hurled themselves into the wreckage as the pileup commenced and then claimed to be victims as they bled out, you'd be watching what the wuffpecker faithful are doing right now with "tape-gate".
not all Pack fans are wuffpeckers I know:o but this quote is pretty much in response to the meltdown at PackPride over the KH stickers yesterday.

21 pt win for the Red & White!
Win tomorrow and we should punch our tickets to the big dance.
With the collective gack of the bubble yesterday, a respectable loss might be enough. State has Miami/Texas to hang their hat on

Yeah, we got a lot of help yesterday, but I would feel a lot better if we win this game.
National perception of the ACC is way down and I fear that the selection committee might hold that against us as it stands.
