Agreed. Also shows that new GM Emery is not oblivious of the fact that one position more than others ended Jerry Angelo's career with the Bears- the backup QB

Why not just sign some decent offensive linemen and reduce the need for a good backup QB? They will go through more QBs than just Cutler and Campbell if they can't protect any of them.

The line had actually improved as the season went on despite the loss of Carimi who was convieniently hit in the knee and lost for the season against the Saints in week two. Martz being gone already improves the O-line dramatically as well. Cutler/Campbell/McKown....I like that kind of security at the QB spot.
