I love Deangelo, but how much money we have invested in him would be much better used somewhere else. J-Stew and Mike Tolbert would be a strong backfield still

My bad did not event mention Tolbert. I think a running attack of Cam, J-Stew and Yogi would be awesome. I say sign Mike !.!
Tolbert is similar to Stewart that he is a bigger back with receiving skills and ideal examples of Newton's Law. Snoop + Yogi. Add a shifty speed back with BETTER receiving skills and you got a KILLA RBC.

If we sign Tolbert, prepare for a possible HUGE s***storm...cuz we would definitely be getting rid of Stewart over D-Will

That is so false it hurts. If it really did mean that, we wouldn't sign Tolbert.

I didn't mean to thank you btw. zod fix this poo! i can't handle having the thanks on the wrong side

Listen...on the off-chance we sign Tolbert, we will NOT pay 5 mil. just to cut D-will.

Stewart is way better trade bait. No matter how much it hurts you to think about it, he would definitely be more likely to leave

This seems more likely to be a typo or just plain bad reporting to me

Tolbert? Really? We don't need another fuging running back.. Get Garay, Castillo for pete's sake. Try adding a pass rusher, if there's any left.

DWill's contract and age will not interest any NFL teams. JStew on the other hand could interest a team like the Bengals, who happen to have 2 1st round picks this year.

I dont' like the Idea of trading Stewart though. Our RB tandem needs to stay together. I'd trade Stewart for sure, a first would be very good to be honest with you. This should only go down if Tolbert does sign.

Keep in mind, JStew is a FA after this year. Trading him now would be a wise move if we can get a 1st rounder.
Goodson might have some trade value, maybe John Fox's Denver Broncos will give us a 5th or 6th rounder for him.

Kevin Acee is a reliable source.

The notion that this automatically means we're getting rid of Williams or Stewart? That's a reach. If anybody's in danger of getting cut it's probably Mike Goodson, and even that's not necessary just yet.

From what I've read, I doubt he ends up here anyway.
