Tolbert - never heard of him before last week

Do you even watch football, or just Panthers' games?

Wow that's an incredible deal for a player that is versatile and helps one of our biggest weaknesses (special teams). He also gives us a lot of insurance in case of injury to Stewart and Williams next season and the possibility of losing Stewart to free agency.

So he takes Shockey' touches, is an ace on ST, and provides insurance if we lose Stewart, all for less than we paid Shockey.

Yeah, the front office doesn't have a clue, right?

They paid him like a FB. So everyone can calm down now.

Bye Stewie, I'm REALLY going to f**king miss you, buddy. God, those were some good years with Double Trouble. 2008 (Prior to Playoffs) was one of the best seasons to live through in Panther's history IMO, and Stewart was a big part of that.

Before all you homers lose your minds, I know, too late. How many of you guys had ever heard of Tolbert before today? How many of you looked him up on youtube to get acquainted? How many remember all the highlights of the "human bowling ball" on sportscenter?

all I am saying is that we should not yell "championship" just because we picked up a big FA who has great measurables. He will be a role player here.

Just keep your emotions in check a bit. I hope he comes in and fills his role by helping convert on 4th downs, goal lines, etc. But I do not expect him to cover sportscenter every Sunday evening. Pittsburgh remember, is in dire need and they said no thanks. Hope he and Rivera can find a "sweet spot" so he can shine.

The chargers have several prime time games yearly, so if you haven't seen him you must not watch any NFL outside of the Panthers.
