When I search help, it says it can be changed on the settings page but I cannot find it there.

I've done that...still don't see where I can change member title.

Yes, it is clearly the work of a higher and better looking intellect. However, I'd really prefer to change it myself, acknowledging that it could never approach the level of sophistication and general awesomeness of it's current state.

Its on profile settings. Profile Information section of that labeled Member Title.
