“I did talk to him and he’s stunned to say the least,” Glazer said. “I think the entire team thought maybe there’d be a four-game suspension, but not a year. I said, ‘Are you OK?’ And he said, ‘No, I’m not OK.’ He is stunned. He’s going to lose about $8 million. He is beside himself here.”

Bahahahahahaha... BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

I can't type it enough.... that is so great.

So Saints lose head coach and have 3 proven backups and a whole offseason to plan. Saints offense has no affect, and just loss one pick this year. So instead of winning by and average of 25 points, they win by 20 points!?

Also, only loss for 2013 is just a 2nd round pick. So no long term affects for future.

Of the 22 players on defense, only 6 starters are signed with Saints and that is possibly changing with saints working out LBs Lofton, Bunkley, and Hawthorne.

All in all, nothing too insurmountable for Saints.

You're a fuging douchebag, I hope you lose your small dildo in your asshole next time you sit your fat ass on it to diddle yourself.

Fans pay to see a certain product and the NFL has radically devalued it by today's rulings with zero precedent. They have been investigating this for three years and waited until after season ticket renewals to make this public and hand out the rash punishment. Do we have the basis for any kind of suit against the NFL?

Reading SR right now is like comedy gold, when you can actually get it to load.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7718136/sean-payton-new-orleans-saints-banned-one-year-bounties

Clipped from the ESPN article: Saints coach Sean Payton has been suspended for one year, former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was suspended indefinitely, general manager Mickey Loomis was suspended for the first eight regular-season games, the team was fined $500,000 and lost two second-round draft picks (one in 2012 and '13) as a result of a bounty program conducted by the team during the 2009-11 seasons that targeted opposing players.

This is a huge blow for the Saints offense. Few head coaches are as involved in the offense as Payton. We'll have plenty of time to analyze how this hurts but at first blush, it's a significant hit to the New Orleans offense.

    • WaPo isn't partners with the CIA. Amazon Web Services, which sells servers to thousands upon thousands of companies and websites, sold servers to the CIA. You can buy your own now right here. Does that make you partners with the WaPo? https://aws.amazon.com When Jimmy Dore says "600 million dollars is more than the Washington Post is even worth!" he's being a dumbass. The Washington Post didn't make the deal with the CIA so what they're worth is irrelevant. Amazon Web Services sold them servers, and they happen to have the same parent company as the Washington Post. The thing about Jimmy Dore is that he is absolutely utterly obsessed with Hillary Clinton. Like, utterly obsessed. Everything goes back to Hillary Clinton to him, and his obsession has morphed into skepticism of the Russian investigation, because he views it as an excuse for why Hillary lost. He can't accept the Russia stuff being true because if it's true then maybe Clinton didn't lose on merit. And so his skepticism of the Russia investigation has led him down the path of 'well the Deep State is conspiring against Trump' and 'the Deep State is the real true evil.' He fact-checks nothing. It's Alex Jones level poo.
    • Anyone who can equate any modern presidency at any moment in time with the embarrassment we see right now is off their gd rocker. What is really telling is that we now see that Trump can't just be casual.  He can't just talk it up with other peers.  He can't just chill the f*ck out. Seriously....people like this are weird as hell.   It's been obvious he's the head of a business but not a business savvy guy since the Apprentice.  I don't understand why we want the Sharknado meets 80s bad guy of Presidents.
