I don't hate him... I think at the end of the day we already have 2 other talents equally proven as him. Maybe this is their chance to shine. LN did screw up some big plays last years but Lafell appeared hungrier! Losing LN won't hurt us yet may not help us immediately either. btw, "could have beens" are as bad as "has beens" which equal potentially! "Potential" is a word I'm tired of in Carolina. We need solid talent.

The guy had a slow start and people who don't pay much attention and/or are swayed by forum posts never gave him a break for the rest of the season. He was ok here.

I never hated him. I just hated the fact he was taking the #2 spot and time away from B. Lafell and stunting his growth and development.

He's clearly not a #2 receiver but that doesn't mean he is worthless. Hope he does well in Jville but we've got better options here.

Legs was a stop-gap to come in and produce while our existing WR's (outside of Smith) learned the offense. Once LaFell grasped more of the offense, Legs dropped to third WR. He did what he was supposed to do and now he's on his way to somewhere else.

Exactly. He was never meant to be top-tier although he was starting opposite Steve Smith. He came in here and played the role he was signed to play and that was to provide us with some experienced depth. It's not his fault that Lafell needed more time to develop. Not being satisfied by his results is one thing, but hating on the guy for not asking to be placed lower on the depth chart with respect to his skill is ridiculous. Good luck on your next team, Legedu.

Yup, he was a good stop gap. With Gettis back he's not needed anymore imo. Wish him success there or wherever.

Well said. Personally, I believe he took time from the other receivers. Would much rather seen Pilares out there.
