lol @ some of my friends who couldn't believe this god awful move by the Jets. Must admit though it'll be freaking juicy, back pages always have something good. Sure they'll have a field day.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Jaguars have jumped "back in the mix" to trade for The Golden Calf of Bristol with Wednesday's Jets deal on hold.
It's worth noting that Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported earlier Wednesday that the Rams never extended a formal trade offer for The Golden Calf of Bristol. So the Rams no longer appear to be serious bidders. The Jets are refusing to pay the required $5 million "kick back" in The Golden Calf of Bristol's rookie contract, but the Jaguars have more salary cap space and may be willing. Stay tuned. The payback to the Bronco's is actually part of The Golden Calf of Bristol's contract and a lot of teams that have read through that section of the contract have kind of balked at trading for him.

I'd rather see him as a Jaguire.

The Cam Newton effect has taken over. Perhaps the Jets are going to a read-option offense. Cam is changing the NFL
