I have to paste my text first, then double click the quote button in order for it to show up, then re-copy my text and re-paste it inside of the quote brackets.

Quote has been screwing up for me as well. The quoted text shows up twice so I have to delete one of them so it doesn't look like I'm quoting the same thing twice

Works fine for me. Just tested it with Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. And I hate Internet Explorer.
Make sure you're not double clicking because it will make it quote twice.
