That might help but until you get some real leadership and a fan base that will support you with passion you will probably continue to fall short.

Face it, the only way the Saints actually made it to the big dance was when the stars aligned and the bounty program actually made a significant impact on the game. (NFC Championship game if you want to be naive)

And your 'real leadership' is basically an offensive guru who had to sell his soul to bring in the biggest scumbag in NFL history to run a defense built on injuring the opposition to cover up lack of skill. Seems real novel in hindsight... poo stained Lombardi for a poo stain of a city.

This from a female fan, oddly enough named "Saint Jeremy" and with a picture of Shockey's tattooed arm as her avatar.

It was pointed out that the discussion of specific players and injuries could not be metaphorical. Her response:

How do you know they are not metaphors?

Did anyone on SF get an ACL injury? A Concussion? Was anyone on SF carted off?

Seriously, are you really that stupid?

Saint Jeremy responds to being called out...

I repeat how many ACL injuries in that game?

Look GW is a jerk and he was idiotic and reckless to say stuff like that after being warned. But I do think this is being take WAY out of context. I'm not saying the Saints didn't have a 'pay for play' program. I hesitate to call it a bounty program because I don't see the evidence. If it was 'as bad as everyone was saying', there would be bodies being carried off every game. And while I don't see a conspiracy, it's not as B&W as the Saints were evil and the angel NFL Goodell has to conquer them.

As we have heard, this stuff went on in most locker rooms, if not all. The Saints were caught because GW was over the top and SP had no control over him. That is the real crime here. And I do blame SP, Loomis and Benson for that.

What I hate is that this tape is now going to be played on every new channel, non sports, and we will once again get the 'Football is to violent and should be stopped' nonsense.

I just hope none of you ever watch sausage being made.

I think the question is answered. Yes, she really is this dumb.

People with unhealthy emotional attachments can and will rationalize anything.

The Bounty thing never had a significant impact on the game....thats the pathetic part....after all that their defense still sucked.
