Are you guys really fuging serious? Seriously? If he gets on that Madden cover he's gonna get hurt, and I hope you feel proud of yourself that you pretty much gave our QB a ticket to be injured. Jesus. You say curses aren't really but almost every got damn player that's been on that cover has been hurt.

The decrease in performance is always going to happen. When someone is put on the cover that means they had a stellar year before that is likely unrepeatable.

I don't think the voting matters as much as people think. Good news is that the people in charge seem to see through falling for some BS. Maybe they have learned from the past. I would be exited about Cam being on the cover and will be the first madden game I pay full price for on release, I'd probably pre-order it. It will also be the only madden game worth it's price, soley because of Cam .

I voted for him as well, I don't believe in no stinking curses. It's just the common sense that if a player has a really great season, the odds of him repeating are low and the risk of injury for any player is high. It's a law of averages.

Jesus! of course there is no mystical powers that make a player fail because of a video game cover but look at the history(thoughtfully posted on page1)...it is fun to discuss and do you not see a strange set of tie ins to that player.

I believe in the curse but poo I've been looking at Other teams players for the last 10 years there is no way in hell I'm gonna let a legitimate chance at having a panther on the cover pass me by. But on another note last yr it seemed like a lot of people played with Carolina online these damn bandwagon people make me sick. I have ran with Carolina since Weinke and I remember the terrible roster updates of 08 with Testerverde and Carr along with the great St. Pierre and the great receiver Drew Carter.

2011: Drew Brees plays an entire season, but throws twice as many interceptions, his QB Rating drops 20 points from the Super Bowl-winning season the year previous, and is part of the only team to lose in the playoffs to a team with a losing record; the 7-9 Seahawks. It is later revealed that Drew Brees played 6 weeks with a torn MCL.
2012: Peyton Hillis misses five games due to injury, and re-injures himself in Week 9 of the season. His rushing yards are cut in half after a breakout season the year before and he is cut from the team at the end of the season.

...and no one else in the entire league was hurt.
