1. If the odds in a certain game are 4:9 in your favor, what is the probability that you will win the
game?

2. It is estimated that 3 out of every 10 new businesses in a specific location go bankrupt within their
first year of operation. If you open a new business, what are the odds against
its going bankrupt?

Have I mentioned that I hate being a college student at 43 years old? Thanks in advance for the help!

I thought 4:9 meant you divide 4 by 13.

But then I hate this stuff. It's more words than numbers.

A golf ball is 1.68 inches in diameter
A 55 gallon drum is a cylinder with the following dimentions - 22.5 inches in diameter and 33.5 inches high.

How many golf balls will fit inside of a 55 gallon drum?

Hey girl, how about we go back to my place, add my bed, subtract our clothes, divide your legs and multiply? That's all the math I need.
