These are starting to be built around Winston -Salem. I know of 3 just around the area I live. I think they are great, but some people just don't know how to use them. If the point of them was to save money on stop signs, it will fail because now they need to make signs that tell you if you are in the circle you have the right of way.

They don't save money, they flow better and are safer. I like em.

Yeah the flow is great if you know how to use them. I was just behind a driver, I don't know if it was male or female but I have a guess...The driver stopped to get in the circle and stopped at every connection....

the no left turn traffic pattern is starting to pop up a lot now too, and I think safety is the reason. You have to U-turn at a light and then make a right instead of just going left. I hate it, and wish the state would do a better job educating drivers rather than make me always drive around my ass to get somewhere.

I actually saw a woman stop and back up because she missed her turn off.

Instead of education, let's just try a tougher written exam, and driving exam.

Tougher driving one is a good idea. The written is always a joke, and I remember the questions I missed not even being a part of what I studied.
