NFL, "Holy fug Saints*!? Thanks for the tons of evidence!"
Cam," I did not do this."
Payton, Loomis, and Williams, "We fuged up. We did this. It will never happen again."
Somewhere there is a difference.

College athlete allegedly receiving money to play at a school or Saints* offering money to players who injure other players. Hmmm. Definitely the college kid taking money being the bigger problem.
Maybe Saints* should of hired Cecil to be in charge of getting rid of evidence since the Saints* aparently so bad at it.
The case against the Saints as per NFL is for breaking rule about receiving pay for on field performance not connected to salary or contract bonus. The case has nothing to do with injuries. The punishment was not just for the pay for play rule broken, but for allegedly Payton lying about it after the fact.
The whole injure angle of the story came from the media when it was revealed the bonus payment details included knock out and such. Then they take that a step further and actually try to say that a couple hundred dollars or even a thousand was the sole motivation for multimillionaire athletes making 500 times that amount for the game.
Knocking and targeting players is done by every team openly, look at the Greg Williams interview from after the Champ game, he says the plan was to hit Farve hard and often, he never tried to hide that fact. They came after Farve to win the game and get to SB, not for a few measly hundred dollars.
Here is an example from this years NFC champ game where Giants admit to targeting Kyle Williams. You have direct quoted admissions from the players themselves saying they were targeting him because of concussion history, BRAIN INJURY. Basically anyone that saw that game saw 49ers as better team and KW fumble the only reason they won. So is the Giants SB tainted? They made it there by targeting and purposely trying to target a brain injury which directly resulted in the win!
Here is one of many articles about it:
The New York Giants targeted San Francisco 49er Kyle Williams in Sunday’s National Football Conference championship game because of his concussion history, according to two Giants players.
Williams, a wide receiver and punt returner, took a big hit from in the third-quarter and went on to have two fumbles, including the overtime slip that cost his team the game.
“He’s had a lot of concussions,” Giants wide receiver Devin Thomas told the Newark Star Ledger. “We were just like, ‘We gotta put a hit on that guy.’” Thomas went on to praise safety Tyler Sash for landing the dizzying hit. “Sash did a great job hitting [Williams] early, and he looked kind of dazed when he got up. I feel like that made a difference, and he coughed it up.”
Jacquian Williams, the Giants linebacker who forced the second fumble, said Williams’ previous concussions prompted the hard hit.
“The thing is, we knew he had four concussions, so that was our biggest thing, was to take him outta the game,” he told reporters after the game.
It may sound like a sinister strategy, but taking advantage of players’ weaknesses is a well-recognized tactic in the NFL. Although teams are required to submit an injury report each week, they make every effort to limit the exploitable details. But targeting a player with a history of concussions — also known as mild traumatic brain injuries — raises the tactic to a dangerous level.
“A brain injury is not like an ankle or knee injury; you can’t tape it up,” Dr. Allen Sills, a neurologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Sports Concussion Center, told ABC News in August.
So bottom line, Giants win NFC champ game by targeting and risking life of KW by going after hos previous brain injury and no problem. Yet the Saints hit Farve a few times and hurt his ankle, and eventhough he continued to play well against an evenly matched team, the fact a little bonus was paid afterwards suddenly makes the Saints these immoral monsters and the Giants targeting brain injury and risking life and career of KW are ..well...SB Champions.
