We have been scouting to add a returner to lead our Special Teams play. Everyone knows that we haven't had a great returner since Steve Smith. This article tells me that we not done with ST just yet.

yeah i just read that also, looks like AE isn't going to make it thru training camp...

If Joe Adams is there for our 4th round pick we absolutely have to take him.

Yup, If he's (AE) replaced as a PR, he's done. RR must doesn't really like him as a WR.

I want to go grammar police all up on your posts. I'll be nice though.

Why?

For trading up to get him when he would have fallen to us. He paid a steep price for this guy and he hasn't produced.

It's Hurney's fault that AE isn't good enough?

Hurney put him in this dilemma, it's more hurney's fault for drafting a QB and trying to turn him into a wr/return man.

Fox put him at WR/PR, Hurney doesn't assign positions.

No way he is there. He's shooting up draft boards and might be there in the 3rd, but we don't have one of those sooooo, not looking good unless we pull the trigger in the 2nd.

I wouldn't be terribly upset with Adams in the 2nd round, something needs to be done. The team sees that and is making the moves to improve ST's and if that's what it takes to make the team's ST unit not a liability, then pull the trigger.
