If wayne can develop into a number 1 why can't Lafell?

You are trying to hard to find every excuse to say fug Brandon Lafell. Just say you don't like him because you really have no reason to keep this up. Harrison being the Main target for Manning (in a Passing Offense) still isn't a excuse for Wayne and Lafell having the same numbers. It's not like Lafell was the main target here. Hell he didn't even start until the last 5 or 6 games and still wasn't the main target.

I love LaFell. He has limitations. Wayne also was no Harrison.

And Marvin Harrison's comical numbers do explain Reggie's numbers though.

Only thing I am saying is we have Cam....let's not sit back his entire career looking for guys to develop. Lets take a shot on a guy who looks to have a higher ceiling out of the gate.

No they don't it was a passing offense. Lafell was the 4th target in a running offense. Him and Reggie have the same Numbers.

What Limitations? Other then he started his Career with Clausen, Moore, and St P in a Jeff Davidson Offense.

If he was a 1st round pick this wouldn't be a conversation.

What Marvin Harrison did in that window doesn't happen....it being a passing offense doesn't explain that away.

Carolina isn't a running offense. That is why we called more passing plays than running plays.

Detroit has some people that can catch the ball....Stafford just became the 4th guy to pass for 5k in a season EVER.

I like Blackmon as a player but he doesn't fit the mold of a high pick WR. He's not as fast and not as tall. Good player but no Green, Megatron, or Fitzgerald.

It was in 2010 (lafell 1st season). 2nd season he played with a rookie QB with no offseason in a new offense. But agian what limits Lafell from being a #1 wr?

let me start by saying I like our receivers.

finding a replacement for steve smith is just as important to us now, as is arguably any other position on the team.

most of you know who I think the panthers should pick.

if the panthersville blackman is there man and make that move, I think it would be pretty damn amesome.

That being said, we have to improve our pass rush.

Now I'm wating on a reason why Steve's replacement couldn't already be on the roster? Even
steve in his 1st 2 years had 10 less rec. 58 less yards and 1 less TD to Lafell.

Who said his replacement isn't on the team.
I like the guys we have. Doesn't mean I'd be opposed to blackmon IF he is .their guy.

Blackmon on one side
Gettis on the other
Smitty in the slot
Olsen
Any of our three running backs.

Doesn't mention 4 wides.

Making A strength stronger.

Defense does win championships
We won't need the best defense in the league.

I still want a defensive lineman.

Then adding 2 new starters on the defense from the draft.
