you would think people would learn from last year after being so wrong about Cam. Then again, the ones that were right about havent' learned anything yet and are just as bad as those against Cam last year.

LOL!! Same ones calling him a bust already, are probably the same ones that said Cam was gonna be a bust. I cant wait to come back to some of these threads later on this year.

I think poe is going to make alot of people on this board regret there words. Once again the tools are there. If u put in the effort this kid is a freak.

Great physical tools takes you so far.....

Poe showed in college he isn't a great football player. Now his competition takes an insane jump....

hard to call a prospect a bust before he takes a single snap on the field.

Which is why college production matters......he had none.

True but he also had no help. and some people may develop at a slower rate than others, the non-teachable traits are there. its up to coaching and him to make the most out of it. i dont want him at 9, but its unfair to label him as a bust before he even took a snap.

But Killer, Cam won the Heisman and National title and did not work out well in Indy (throwing). Poe was second team all conference USA but was a freak.

No to everyone u said. We have a kuechly on the team. James anderson a guy who makes tackles and not sacks and good in coverage. Ingram seems like 2 much of a tweener to me he's an athlete who will be moved around alot but does have a true position. I d rather not go ol in the first round to many other needs.

With the trade for cambell otah fully healthy and bell, i would like to go one more year before grabing one in the first.

That's putting a lot of faith in Otah and Campbell......

Lots of guys who dominate in CUSA can't make the jump and play at a high level on the NFL.

You rarely see guys who don't dominate in CUSA play at a high level in the NFL....unless there is a reason like injuries or lack of actual time on a field.

There are tons of guys who look great in shorts....that aren't great football players. That type ability normally let's them play in college

Hurney has always seemed to favor production over potential, so I wouldn't be surprised if we don't bring Poe in for an interview either.

It really comes down to whether Poe has the drive to be great and is willing to put in the effort. His Combine shows he is atletic and a hard worker in the gym. If he can translate that to the field he will be a very good player. I expect we will interview him and figure it out. I trust if they pick him they know he has the drive. If they don't then they know he has some converns and reservations too big to ignore.
