Goodson Didn’T Get The Chances He Thought He Deserved Here...

Recommended Posts

I actually thought he would develop into a Reggie Bush like role..as a hb/wideout KR/PR. It never panned out and like most said he was wayy too careless with the ball.

He blamed his coaching staff in college when his role was diminished bc of his poor attitude. Seems like more of the same..good luck Goodson.

-Getting a Bruce Campbell talent could work out real well as he has had two years to learn a few things. physically he is a beast!

RB with talent...stuck behind two stud RB's...and showed a propencity for fumbling.

He got his shot here.....now we wish him the best in Oakland.

Its funny he wants to throw the coaches under the bus, but he needs to look at the stat sheet, DWILL and Stewart didn't lose one fumble, and Stewart only fumbled once. Why play a guy that fumbled all through training camp and preseason?

he had a good run during the latter half of the 2010 season... one of the lone bright spots. i always liked the guy. i hope he gets his chance to start.

Agreed, the guy has playmaking potential and is a great versatile player. If he fixes his fumbling issues, he could really be a nice backup RB for the Raiders.... Hopefully Campbell can put his athletic ability to work here in Carolina.

This just wasn't a good situation for Mike. He has talent, but he was clearly the 3rd best back on the team, so there just weren't many opportunities for him outside of STs. His lackluster performance there cost him a role on the team.

He will get that opportunity with Oakland and I hope he does very well.

He literally 'dropped the ball' on his chances of playing. I don't see why he can't understand that.

If they give him a chance, he will break out in Oakland.

I don't see how. If he can't hold onto the ball and continues to fumble there, then he won't get an opportunity anymore. He better figure out how to hold the ball.

I'm still confused as to why we kept Goodson over Tyrell Sutton. Sutton could have been that scatback Rivera wanted.

I was thinking the same thing.
