Don't give me a mandate to buy a product I do not desire. If I do not pay my aquired bills, fine me and throw me in prison. Quit catering to the insurance lobby. Make healthcare insurance illegal and the problem will take care of itself in a few years.

Ole "Thomas Jefferson" Obama is having all kinds of trouble this week. No worries, the folks that vote for him either don't understand the importance of the constitution or are like him in the fact that it gets in the way of the agenda. Maybe a few independents will care, maybe

Did not they say that TJ was a great, great, great, great grandaddy of Obama?

Most of you guys are way smarter than you are letting on.

No, it has nothing to do with intelligence. They're just spreading Obama's word like good little comrades.

If you don't want to buy insurance...then you should be allowed not to.

However, do not expect hospitals and doctors to treat you unless you pay cash for their services....do not expect insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions. You make the decision to not get insurance....you live with the consequences.

You can't have it both ways.

If making people buy health insurance is unconstitutional, then I would think outlawing it is as well.

Likely. But that is one of the biggest reasons HC cost is so high.

STATES can make their people buy health insurance. Feds cannot.

States could simply call it a tax and condition of doing business in their state....whatever. Feds can't make this proclamation. That's why it's unconstitutional. Now...the feds could simply withhold medicare/aid funding if a state doesn't have steps like this in place...but that's not the law that was passed was it.
