Yes, we all want Claiborne overall - But of the projected players to still be available at #9, who are your top 3:

1) Fletcher Cox
Michael Floyd
Stephon Gilmore
3) Dre Kirkpatrick
Luke Kuechly

Riley Reiff

Out of those listed...

Luke
Coples
Floyd

Comparable DT can be grabbed in the 2nd to those listed. First 2 are BPA on D.....

1) Coples. I just think a DE is more important the DT at this point... Especially since I think the DT class is so deep...
2) Fletcher Cox. I know I just said DT is deep, but based on need, Coples outdoes him. If someone could prove that he was a safer pick, I might go with him at 1.
3) It's so open.... Floyd or Kirkpatrick would probably be my choice, despite the Kirkpatrick pick being a slight reach by 5 picks. But when you like someone, you go get em. I also know Floyd seems like a "luxury pick", but he would possibly be the most talented left.

I love how when I said WR, people called me dumb. But now people love Floyd and its a cool pick now.

With all of the stupid pre draft hype that these three are getting I would love to be sitting there at 9 with all of them on the board.

Trade back, trade back, trade back.

Kuechly or Cox, one of those will be available and I wouldn't pick any of the others at 9. I really want to trade back.

I dont like either of these guys at #9. Kuelchy is talented and has a lot of potential but it happens that we have a very talented and highly paid MLB under contract. Cox is pretty good but at most his immediate impact/upgrade would be minor to what we already have at DT. From the list above I take Kirkpatrick, Gilmore or Coples

1. Cox
2. Kuechly
3. Coples
4. Floyd
5. Worthy

The reason I don't have any CBs on this list is because this CB draft class is so massive. We could easily get a ten year starter in the second round in Minnifield, Dennard, Johnson, maybe even Jenkins.

It only would be a consideration for me because we haven't signed Smith yet. If we don't then we need a 1 pretty badly. If we sign him, then we don't need someone this year/

Of those listed:

Kuechly
Coples
Poe

I don't believe in Coples for one second. I feel like he's top 10 just "because".
