I am going to use this same article and title it "Carlos Rogers confirms that the 49ers put out a hit on Eli Manning in NFC Championship game."

Though Rogers stopped short of saying that money was offered to 49ers players for efforts during the NFC title game, he said that players recognized that, when facing Giants quarterback Eli Manning, “We need to take him out.”
Rogers also doesn’t believe that the current effort to punish the Saints will change the realities of pro football. “Will guys stop doing it in their [meeting] rooms? I doubt it.”

Everyone does it....well, except for Mr. Scott's Pee Wee team.

You think Zod's lying when he says he never heard anything even remotely like this stuff in the Panthers locker room?

I think it would be ridiculous to punish any of those teams. That would be getting out of hand.

I don't think Zod is in the team meetings the night before the games in their hotels.

Neither are any of those on here claiming to know with absolute certainty that "this stuff happens on every team".

Even the players who talk about such things happening in other places nearly all tend to qualify it with "but not like what the Saints were doing" (except for the places where Gregg Williams was working).
