Jordan Vandenburg out of Australia committed to the Wolfpack today. Not many people have seen him play but he was also being recruited by Southern Cal, Nevada, and Boise St.

Australia has put out some great talent in recent years from this particular school and with others like AJ Ogilvy, Andrew Bogut, Schensher, Patrick Mills etc. I haven't heard a lot about this kid but he is 6'11'' somewhere in the 220 range and has a mid-range jumper. He has played for one of their national teams since he was 16. Apparently he is not a project type player and could come in immediately to spell Tracy Smith at the 5 spot and give us some added height when we go up against combos like Ed Davis, Zeller, and Henson.

He isn't going to blow anyones doors off in his first year but he should be a great addition for 4 years for the Wolfpack. Anyone who follows NC State knows that we BADLY needed a 5 man to come in and give Smith a breather...this is the guy.

I have no clue if he's any good, but we needed another big man in a bad way.

Don't know anything about him, but if Boise State was recruiting, he has to be good!
