Does anybody know how much DirecTV is going to charge for NFL Sunday ticket this season? When do they usually start charging for it?

I'm definitely playing hardball with those bastards this year. If they don't give me a discount, I'm canceling it and setting up a Slingbox on my parents TV, so I can watch Panther games on my computer. Gas prices and groceries are too damn high to be paying what they usually charge for it.

Usually about $330, or 6 payments of $55. Call them & tell them you cant afford it, they will drop it down to 6 @ $33, so about $200... Its worked for me the past 3 years.... Dont usually start paying for it until the season starts, or preseason per haps...

Is it true that you can get this through PS3? If so, anyone have any experience with trying that?

I had it for the PS3 last year. The first game of the season it took them a few hours to get it working, luckily the Panthers played at 3:15. Otherwise it worked flawlessly. Wish it wasn't so expensive. I found myself watching the redzone channel when the Panthers weren't playing. Debating on whether or not to buy it again this year, I'm not sure you can talk them down on price for the PS3 version.
