Maybe but I think if the jets want Ingram that bad, they'll trade in front of the Jags to make sure they get him. It'll be too risky thinking the jags are not going to take Ingram.

Moving from 16th to 6th will be too expensive. It will cost atleast 2 1st and some. I doubt jets will give up that much for a DE.

Yah but that's probably the only way they will land Ingram. Unless they want to play the wait and see game and see if Ingram is there at 9th. Very good chance though. Jags may rather want Coples or Floyd. Let's hope Ingram is there at 9th, if the Jets are truly looking at him.

I would move back to 16th for their 1st round pick next year. If they let The Golden Calf of Bristol get some snaps, it could be a very valuable pick next year.

This may be true, but if KC at 11 or Seattle at 12 are targeting him the Jets would probably rather deal with us at 9 than one of their division rivals (Buf) at 10 who has also expressed interest in Ingram lately to fill a hole at OLB.  Both Seattle and KC could use help off the edges so theres a good chance any of those 3 teams could scoop him up after we pick.  I still think we would have to get lucky for this to happen, but who knows.

Buffalo is key.

The shell game generally works like this. If you think the team at 9 is gonna take your guy, you trade in front of them, not with them.

So, a trade with the Panthers would indicate that someone thinks Buffalo is gonna get their guy. Maybe KC, and Buffalo would not trade with Jets so they have no choice but to come up one more and trade with Panthers.

KC needs Poe, Buffalo does not need pass rushers now as they just sank tons into two DE's. If Jets move up with us, it will be because of Rieff.

If they want Ingram, then move up to 11 just ahead of Seattle.
