If they could work it for quality CB, DL, and OL I would be pretty happy with that.

You know you are thinking too much about the draft when you have detailed dreams about it. A few nights ago, I had a dream that we traded down with the Jets, and we selected Courtney Upshaw.

Don't see the Jets trading up. They are an aging team and have needs on Offense and Defense. Losing a 2nd and maybe a 3rd or 4th wouldn't help.

Having said that the Jets have been pretty stupid come draft day, so there is a possibility.

So if I'm Carolina, I schedule a visit from Ingram. But really, Jets give up a 2nd and 3rd, they dont pick again until round 5. Doubt this happens.

How about the jets trade their first, a second, and a third for Carolina's first and fourth?

Remember the last time we did a draft day trade with the Jets?

I'd say it worked out pretty well.

That was a very rare, true win win trade for both clubs. They got Revis, we got Beason and Kalil. If we can do something like that again I'll do a fugging backflip.

I like it.

The last time we made a deal with the Jets it turned out pretty good. We nabbed Beason.

On the other hand, that was the same year that the Jets got Revis with our pick

I could only see this working if the jets REALLY fall in love with Ingram. Some teams are willing to give up way to much to move up to get a player that they covet. I know its not a perfect comparison, but the redskins gave up 3 first round picks and a 2nd round pick to move up for a guy they absolutely love. Or when the saints traded every pick in 99, and their 1st and 3rd round pick in '00 for Ricky Williams(And that was only to move from 12 to 5). Sometimes teams get a bit crazy when moving up for a guy they really like, that is what we can only hope will happen....

Edit: The Jets are a team I could see making a snap decision like this however. Especially with Ryan at the helm.
