i still remember the conf call with the west coast sales team. their big fish was countrywide. im 2 years removed from my jerry maguire moment at wachovia and im working at bofa and building up this large corporate real estate portfolio for them.

2nd call and i drop the nuclear bomb they never saw coming on them. umm, guys, based on the data im looking at, countrywide is going to go bankrupt in maybe a year. the next day i get a scathing diatribed filled email from some chick getting her MBA at UCLA and she cc's the entire division and adds pdf's and videos and junk about the mortgage industry.

she goes pstall, i know you are new to the mortgage industry and i think this info will help you. she then pulled the bus off of me and moved on.
6 months later countrywide crumbles. i reply to all with that email i had filed away under the CYA folder. i go yeah guys I was wrong. it was just 6 months and not a year. my apologies.
not one single person emailed me or pinged me. the UCLA chick who was keen on intimidating people never said one cross word to me again. little by little that team fell apart like a Tom Cruise marriage.

the moral of the story? looking foolish and being misunderstood is far better than saying whats popular and having no frigging clue what the future holds and you just bs not just people, but yourself and you tell yourself every night before you go to bed its going to be ok.
not saying to live in fear. but don't live in denial either.

Good for you! Seriously, there is a severe lack of individuals with courage and integrity in our society today.

It takes a lot of courage to say the things you know your bosses don't want to hear, knowing they have the power to isolate or term you.

Team dynamics are such that the vast majority of people just want to be accepted into the "circle of trust" and will agree with just about anything no matter how blatantly wrong headed to get in and stay there as a matter of career self preservation.

All it takes is a few greedy individuals in the right positions and if they are not stopped, they can alter the future course of just about any organization and send it right off a cliff.

Aint nobody going to do our dirty work for us. Our complacency is what got us to where we are now, and the only way we can stop these people is to snap out of our slumber, and organize the militias out of their 230 year retirement. There are 200+ million firearms in America... nobody on this Earth can stop us except for ourselves.

Our founding fathers gave us the second amendment for the sole purpose of protecting ourselves from tyrannical government, and for protecting our other Constitutional rights from people who want to take them away.

this may sound crazy but it's counterintuitive. we actually need more common sense people to run for office. flood the market(political offices) with good solid people.

start a coalition while in office be it local, state or fed. kinda like the show survivor. group up with like minded people, but in a way that doesn't cater to special interests.

honestly, that's the only way. get into their game and change their rules against them. give power back to it's rightful owners the people. of course the cynics will never do this but just stay mired in 'merica loathing.

Below is a link to the legal order recently filed against Barclays by the CFTC. Whats so conspiring about all this, is that in order for Barclays to rig their own credit score, they had to be in cahoots with all the biggest banks in the world.
