Congrats conservative methodology. Rational thinking and pragmatism are no match for promise pledges and guilt trips.

And arguing that 15 year old kids should be more responsible and not have sex - it's as if they forgot when they were 15 they thought about sex every single minute of every day.

Who teaches that?
Mississippi currently has no sex education mandate and when sex education is provided, the only criteria is that it be age appropriate it is not explicitly mandated that information must be accurate.
Literally just used pragmatism as a defense of his backwards political beliefs.

cookinwithgas has really hit rock bottom.

Meanwhile letting the statistics speak for themselves seems to be just fine at getting the point across.

Two posts in a row with barely a sentence each. You rile up easier than...well, anything, really.

And I'm not interested in explaining why modern American liberalism is poo to you every time I open one of your asinine threads. If you're going to tow a party line and deny yourself any individual thought, find a party line that supports real liberalism, please.

Let me guess, a victim of a lackluster southern education?

Mississippi is the blackest state in the country at just under 40%.

Why do you think black people are so stupid CWG?

[/cwg logic is fun]

Well thats a great question Jase.

Probably has something to do with the fact that Southern states consistently spend the least on education, have the worst performing schools, and have systematically provided seperate and unequal education to blacks for generations.

That help?

I would assume black people in Mississippi are stupid, just like I assume everyone living in Mississippi is stupid. Then again, I like to judge people, so what are you going to do?

Haven't read every post in this thread, but IIRC, doesn't Mississippi have one of the lowest or THE lowest age of consent in the union?

I believe that contributes to it as well if that is the case.

Don't worry. Anyone graduating from public school over the next ten years will be a certified dumbass. They're gonna indocturnate all kids the same. And let's be honest while we're stereo-typing the south again. Who the hell determined Yankees were so smart ? Most of the ones I've worked with in my life couldn't even read.

Just an observation but the study doesn't specify wed vs unwed teen mothers. Most assume they are unwed, but they like to marry young down there. So if the majority of these girls are married teen mothers, while still really dumb IMO, it kind of defeats the OPs original intent on posting this article.
Like I said, anyone graduating the public school systems these days are indocturnated idiots. I take it as a compliment if our kids fail that test.
