My mailman said his dog told him that the neighbors cat has been following a "rebutable" birds tweets, and Brees is gonna sign a 73 year, 73 mil contract that's heavily backloaded so he can get a lot of money later and save the Saints money to spend on other high priced free agent QBs.

It makes me feel dirty, but I definitely agree with you! I think that's why Benson publicly admitting him and Brees have been talking and saying he will be in next week must mean he's ready to get involved which is great news, hopefully. Lol

Benson was asked about Brees at a press conference announcing that he will become the next owner of the NBA's New Orleans Hornets.

"I talked to Drew Brees this morning personally and told him what was going on... " Benson said. "He's due in next week and we (are) close. You know how those things work. It just takes a little more time, a little patience... We haven't forgotten about him."

It has basically the same exact quote saying they spoke and expect him in next week.

ESPN (Mort) is reporting on SC this morning that Brees is definitely not reporting to OTA's and won't report until he has a contract... I think Benson was blowing smoke up the Saints* fans asses on this...
