David Amerson NSU, a Carolina kid.

6'3" 194lbs

Has to be the best cb next year.

I would love to trade up and pick this boy up if he decides to enter the draft next year, even if it means investing our future. It's not like we never done it before.

He was a freshman last year only and was already being compared to Nnamdi. I think Amerson is even better than Claiborne. I believe we won't be getting a top cb this year, so mind as well pass on a cb this year. Wait for Amerson next year.

Yah we won't but I wouldn't mind trading up to take him. And it'll have to be moving up pretty far. But so be it.

Incredible hands and hits like a safety. He'll get Heisman consideration if we put him on kick/punt returns (assuming we win games)...which I hope we do.

He is exactly what we need THIS year, guy can play cb or safety.

Man we are going to need him this year with our linebackers depleted like it is. But ya I love him because he has the hands of a good WR and has the attitude that the ball is as much his as the guy its being thrown too.

How awesome would it be to have a solid year in football after the basketball season we just had.

Amerson IMO would be the best CB prospect in the draft THIS year. Maybe not the most polished but the guy has hands like a receiver, he's huge for a CB, and he is incredibly fast. The link above is another diving pick from yesterday's spring game. I have a feeling State is going to leave him on an island this year and just expect that side of the field to be shut down. Our secondary is going to be pretty good...they gave Glennon fits yesterday and Glennon is probably one of the top 3 QBs in the league this upcoming year. Should be a good year for the Pack if we can win a big one against Tennessee.
