It's about sacrifice dude. You were knocking down over $130k a year without her working. My wife and I chose to have one person stay at home. She's an FNP and can make probably more than I if she worked full time, but we made a decision that the we'll never regret having someone home spending time raising our children. This is supposedly the response to Rosen's ignorant statement regarding Anne Romney. I know the context she made the statement was surrounding their monetary circumstances and she "really" didn't have to work...but in today's world you just don't make an ignorant statement even in jest to your wives that what they do at home isn't a full time job.

President Obama, again, acted stupidly.

She chose to be the one to stay home. I essentially said to her, it's either you or me. She chose to stay. Sacrifices and living within your means.
