After seeing this pathetic bunch struggle to put up 67 points in an NBA game, they don't even deserve to call themselves an NBA team. Hell, half of the NBA Development teams would beat the Hornets this season.

I haven't either but last night at the Arena, I was working in the team store and one of the older security guys in the arena came up to me and said "I guess everything around here is going to say Hornets pretty soon" Also another guy was in the team store wearing a Charlotte Hornets shirt. He was talking to my manager and said something about 'they are bringing back the Hornets" I was like have I missed something. I really thought there was breaking news or something that I missed. We also just so happen to to put all the Bobcats jerseys on sale for 50% off. We are trying to get rid of all those suckers. But then I came home and saw no news on it. So I don't where everyone is hearing news on this.

I've personally been on upwards of 20 news programs, radio shows, newspapers, etc. KittyMan, from here to Charleston to Winston Salem. Gonna be on Keith Larson's show today. Was on WCNC last night. We're everywhere...go to the Facebook page; I keep a running record of all of our 'press' in the 'notes' section. If you haven't caught the Movement in the news, expect to soon

The problem with a rebrand, is that it has not long term benefit of the team. Sure merchandise would sell better for a short period, but that and all the hoopla from the rebrand would be gone after 2 weeks of games. It's just a waste of money, the Hornets name doesn't belong to Charlotte, it belongs to New Orleans first. The NBA second and unless the rebran automatically sells out the new arena for the next 2 seasons and make the team the #1 team in the NBA in merchandise, it wouldn't be worth the trouble.


The name of the team shouldn't matter, its your states/hometown's team and you should cheer for them with out griping about a damn name. Should be more focused on what the team needs to do to be competitive, changing the name doesn't help in that regard.

Also, for those who are interested and haven't yet seen it, this is the Charlotte Hornets 2.0 concept uniform/logo updates that we've been floating around the 'net the last few days. They were actually designed for us by a NOLA fan whom I've met through all of this. He goes by BigDub81 on HornetsReport.com and he's the guy responsible for all the killer Brass/Krewe/Breakers (the list goes on) mock ups that you might've seen over the past few months.
