According to ProFootballFocus, we ranked 5th in B gap offense last year in the NFL.

Here's how it breaks down:

Now, my question is how much is this going to change with Wharton gone? Or is it even going to make a difference? To me, our interior line is shaky outside Kalil and we definitely need to address it some how.

Otah is a big question mark but this guy that came to us from the Colts I think will add some needed ability on the interior
line. Gross has been waiting for a ring for a long time and he should be fine. Kali is pro bowl too just hope the jell together and we gonna be awsome.

Wharton has been consistently graded as one of the bottom guards in the league, so if we did as well as you say with him, I don't see why we can't be even better this year.

Hangartner is solid and hopefully Pollack will be better than Wharton was. If not, maybe play Campbell as a Guard? I know RR said he would start off as a Tackle but he played G a season in Oakland, right?

Was he that bad in pass protection? He's always been an above average run blocker.

I don't remember what sight had it, but his graded out performance was brought up several times in the threads when he was let go, and I recall it pretty much confirming that he wasn't worth half of what he got paid. I'll try and find it.

38 of 77 last year. Will try to find 09 and 10.

DeCastro deserves no apologies.. elite Guards are commanding 10 million (see Nicks) now.. deCastro is supposed to be elite no brainer. With the rookie wage scale????....

Wharton strength was run blocking, while Pollack was pass. So there very well could be somewhat of a drop. But seeing as we are more of a passing team nowadays , I think we're better off

If Otah can't win the RT job maybe he moves inside. I've all but given up on him. Can't help but wonder if a man of his size is destined to have knee injuries.

Don't have the link but PFF posted another article on outside runs
We rank #1 in the league in D gap (outside the tackle) offense. 7 yards a carry and 10 TDs.

We need a guard and depending on Campbell a RT if Otah falls out as usual.Wharton was not very good protecting the pass.
