Don't believe calling Tolbert a FB is crap at all. A FB in the air coryell isn't the same as a traditional FB. He has to be able to catch, run and block. Have you ever noticed the guys the Chargers have used at FB. Tolbert fits our systems perfectly.

Your missing everyone's point. It doesn't matter what title you give to Tolbert bc the reality is he is another person competing for touches. He didn't come here to be the 3rd option in our backfield in a pass first system and league.

How do know he'll take away touches from just the backs...hopefully he will take some of Cams. I believe he just wanted to play for this team. He seen the dynamic in our offense and wanted to be a part of it. He took less money to be on a team that is about to take off like a bat out of hell! Winning( and being closer to home) trumps the amount of touches he will receive...JMO.

Good point. Tolbert probably wanted to play for a 6-10 team rather than splitting carries as a RB for the Steelers or remain with his current team.

Panther are on an up swing. Chargers are on down swing, may have a new coaching staff after this year. The steelers don't look like themselves. Our offense fits Tolbert better... so what's your point???

That Tolbert didn't come here to be the 4th option in our backfield (behind Cam too).

Maybe he wants to win and don't give a poo about the carries.

winning > carries

Maybe he wants to get paid. Can win lots of places. Can get lots of carries as well

Get paid? Didn't he take less to play here? Its either about the money or a chance to win (Championships not games). Is it out of the realm of possibility that players think that there is something special happening here?
