I think the team wants to see how the draft plays out before they re-sign Shockey

Just odd he hasnt signed anywhere else. Seems like its Panthers or retirement. We'll see.

Huh? The Panthers made a smart decision because one year wasn't a gamble on an aging veteran. But if money isn't a factor, they would definitely want him back.

What? He was an injury prone veteran, and Hurney didn't want to take the chance with a multi-year contract.
